Care guide
Wash it cold.
Fluff it low.
That's really the whole thing. Four steps, three things to avoid, and your blanket stays as soft as the day it showed up.

Care instructions
The routine
Four steps, every time
01
Wash cold
Cold water, normal cycle, your regular detergent. Liquid or powder both work fine — nothing special required.
02
Leave out the softener
No fabric softener, no dryer sheets. They coat the yarn and flatten the loft that makes the blanket feel like a cloud.
03
Hang until almost dry
Line dry or lay it flat and let the air do the work. Take it down while it still feels faintly damp — that's the moment for step four.
04
Fluff on super low
A short tumble on the very lowest heat, purely to fluff it back up. Never high heat — that's the one thing that can't be undone.
Avoid these three
What wears a blanket out
Everything else is forgiving. These three are not.
Pod detergent
Pods don't fully dissolve in a cold wash and leave residue behind. Liquid or powder only.
Fabric softener
Softener and dryer sheets coat the fibers, mat the pile, and take the cloud feel with them.
High heat
Hot water or a hot dryer can shrink the weave and stiffen it for good. Lowest setting, always.
