What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as email, or participate in another site feature. When ordering or registering, we may ask for your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, or other relevant information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We also collect information about gift recipients to fulfill gift purchases. The information collected about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes. Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our site. How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

Marketing SMS and Phone Number Use

By providing your phone number, you consent to receiving SMS messages from us. Phone numbers collected for SMS marketing are used solely to send you updates, promotions, and other communications you have consented to. We do not sell or share your phone number with non-affiliated third parties for their marketing purposes. These messages may include updates, marketing content, or other communications. We respect your time and aim to send messages during appropriate hours based on your specified or inferred timezone. To customize your experience, we request that you confirm your preferred timezone for receiving these updates. This ensures that all communications are personalized and not sent at inconvenient times. Internal Team SMS Notifications (Keiki Warehouse App)

Separate from the customer marketing messages described above, Keiki Co. operates an internal, staff-only operations tool (the “Keiki Warehouse App”) that sends SMS text notifications to our authorized employees and staff about warehouse activity — for example, when a new order is placed, when an order needs to be marked as shipped, and when an order has shipped. These messages are internal only and are never sent to customers or the general public, and they contain no marketing or promotional content. Staff opt in within the app by entering their own mobile number and agreeing to receive these notifications; consent is not a condition of employment. This consent is collected through a separate, standalone checkbox that applies only to these operational notifications. It is not combined with any other consent, and it is entirely separate from the customer marketing SMS consent described above. Opting in to these internal operational notifications does not opt anyone in to marketing messages, and staff are never sent marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Staff can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and can reply HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We share staff mobile numbers only with our messaging provider (Twilio) as strictly necessary to deliver these messages.

How do we protect visitor information?

We implement various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your information is kept behind secure networks and accessible only by those with special access rights who are required to keep it confidential. All sensitive/credit information supplied is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encrypted into our databases, accessible only as outlined above.

Do we use “cookies”?

Yes. Cookies are small files transferred to your computer’s hard drive through your browser (if allowed). They enable the site to recognize your browser and remember certain information. Cookies help process items in your shopping cart, understand preferences based on site activity, and compile aggregate data for improved site experiences and tools.

Keiki Co.’s website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages by text message.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties without advance notice, except as described here. This does not include Keiki Co. or website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website or servicing you, provided they keep this information confidential. We may release information when appropriate to comply with laws, enforce site policies, or protect rights, property, or safety.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How can you opt-out, remove, or modify information you have provided to us?

To modify email or SMS subscriptions, update your preferences in the “My Account” section or contact customer service. For SMS, you can also reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for help. You may still receive communications already in production. To remove all online account information, sign in to “My Account” and delete your details. Note that we may maintain individual sales transaction information for record-keeping and to service that transaction.

Third-party links

We may include third-party links on our site for added value. These linked sites have separate, independent privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or activities. Feedback about these linked sites is welcome.

CCPA Opt Out

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request that we delete it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. Keiki Co. does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at rlipp@keikico.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. This does not apply to text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which are never shared with any third parties.

Changes to our policy
